On International Women in Engineering Day, we celebrate the trailblazing women who have forged a better world for us all. Their relentless pursuit of excellence is exemplified in pioneers like Mary Jackson, NASA’s first Black female engineer.  Mary worked as an aerospace engineer in several departments, including the Supersonic Pressure Tunnel at NASA’s Langley Research Center. Her analysis of wind tunnel and real-world aircraft flight experiments increased our understanding of airflow and thrust and drag forces, ultimately improving the performance of U.S. aircraft.    Mary’s contributions to aerospace engineering, coupled with the achievements of female engineers worldwide, are pivotal to our understanding of the world today and essential to our ability to succeed in new frontiers. #INWED24
