A vital advancement for a critical project that's Advancing the Quality of Life for All in the Sacramento region and beyond. Way to go, Capital SouthEast Connector Joint Powers Authority 🛣️ #APWA #AQOLFA #PublicWorks #Connectivity #Connector
What if you could transform 60-year-old roads into a modern expressway that connects four major highways in the Sacramento region? That’s exactly what the Capital Southeast Connector project is doing. This project, decades in the making, will upgrade old rural roads into a four-lane expressway complete with a class one bike path. Stretching 34 miles, the Connector will link I-5, 99, 16, and 50—creating a beltway around the region that makes it easier to travel without driving through city centers. With this latest round of funding, we’re extending the progress made in Folsom all the way into Rancho Cordova. Piece by piece, we’re building a vital link for the future of transportation in our region. #TransportationInfrastructure #ConnectorProject #RegionalDevelopment #elkgrove #eldoradohills #ranchocordovo
