I’m pleased to have served as a teaching assistant in Archifeed ‘s summer architecture workshop, helping guide a talented group of high school students through their first steps into the world of design. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm as they tackled hands-on projects, from model making to digital design. The workshop also featured valuable lectures from renowned professionals like Bernard Khoury, Karen Chekerdjian, and Shaha Raphael, adding depth to the students’ learning journey. It has been an absolute pleasure to organize and manage our latest Intro to Architecture and Design workshop! We welcomed students from over 15 schools, all eager to dive into the world of design and discover what it means to them personally. Over the course of four weeks, we had the privilege of guiding these young minds through a variety of experimental exercises, including model making, 2D drawing, and digital manipulations. Watching them engage so deeply with each task was incredibly inspiring, as each student brought their own unique perspective and creativity to the table. What stood out the most was witnessing their individual design journeys unfold. The diversity in their approaches was a reminder of how vast and personal the field of architecture truly is. It was a journey of exploration not just for the students, but for all of us involved. As we continue to build on this experience, we're excited to see where these passionate young designers will go next. Our first architectural workshop in Beirut, Lebanon, brought together over 17 high school students eager to explore architecture and design. Through various assignments, they expanded their knowledge and gained valuable insights from industry professionals. With lectures from renowned figures such as architect Bernard Khoury / DW5, designer Karen Chekerdjian and architect/designer Shaha Raphael, the students were able to better understand the field and prepare for their next steps toward college. This workshop provided a practical introduction to architecture, equipping students with the tools and perspectives to make informed decisions about their future. At Archifeed, we are passionate about empowering the next generation of architects.  We had a fantastic time at the recent career fair in collaboration with Lycée Franco-Libanais Verdun and Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais Beyrouth, where we had the opportunity to introduce Archifeed to high-school students. We showcased how Archifeed can be a valuable tool for students to explore architecture and gain insight into what their journey in architecture school would look like.  We were thrilled to see the students' enthusiasm and eagerness to learn more about the field. The career fair highlighted the importance of providing high-school students with exposure to architecture and opportunities to explore their interests. As the end of the semester is approaching, I wanted to share some further development on Mason Rape, LEED GA and I’s studio project at the University of Miami School of Architecture, a nature library in the Flamino neighborhood of Rome! 🌿 I’m proud of the the progress we’ve made since our midterm presentation and I’ve most definitely enjoyed the process of figuring out how we want these spaces to truly feel and opperate. #Architecture #Library #Rendering #USoA
