Congratulations to Drs. Eileen Harder, Jane Leopold, Aaron Waxman and Edwin Gravereaux, and the team at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Women’s Hospital for implanting their second patient in the ASPIRE PH Study with the Gen 2 Aria CV Pulmonary Hypertension System. This is the first implant for Brigham and Women’s Hospital with the Gen 2 Aria System. The team previously enrolled the very first patient in the ASPIRE PH Study using the Gen 1 device. Aria CV appreciates their dedication to ongoing research for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension and their collaboration with the Aria CV team. Since the 1980s, long-term survival rates for people with pulmonary hypertension have improved significantly, surpassing the previous average of 2.8 years. This improvement is largely due to advancements in research, treatment and care, increased awareness, and the support of patient associations. Specialized PH care centers also play a critical role in providing comprehensive care and improving patient outcomes. #AriaCV is proud to play a role in researching treatment options that give hope to those affected by PH. #WorldPHDay2024
