About us
The Arizona Diamondbacks have won five National League West Division Championships (1999, 2001-02, 2007, 2011) since entering Major League Baseball as an expansion franchise in 1998. The D-backs also became the fastest expansion team to win a World Series Championship after defeating the New York Yankees in the 2001 World Series in only their fourth year of existence. The club plays its games at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix, which features a signature swimming pool and a retractable roof, to keep fans comfortable in an air-conditioned facility during the hot summer months. The organization has also given back more than $55 million to non-profit organizations in Arizona since 1997 through its Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and is consistently named among the “Best Places to Work” by the Phoenix Business Journal and BestCompaniesAZ. As we continue working to grow the game across the state of Arizona, we are celebrating an incredible year for our #Dbacks Fun at Bat program! In 2024, over 38,000 Arizona elementary school students have been impacted by D-backs Fun at Bat, supported locally by Whataburger. In partnership with USA Baseball, Fun at Bat promotes fun and active lifestyles for children while teaching them the fundamental skills of bat and ball sports. Teachers, sign up your school for free at www.funatbat.org and receive a kit that includes equipment, curriculum, books, D-backs branded materials, and the chance for a visit from Baxter and the D-backs Baseball Academy!

We are incredibly proud to share that our own Noel Guevara has been named a 2024 Outsports Power 100, most powerful LGBTQ people in American sports, honoree! During her time as an NCAA soccer player with Northern Arizona University, Noel was out to her teammates and coaches and found the support she needed to enjoy a successful career. Guevara has been with the Arizona Diamondbacks for 12 years, the last five as manager of our community partnerships. She has played a pivotal role in our annual #Dbacks Pride Night, helping launch the now yearly event, and strives to make it bigger and better each season. She also takes an active role in helping our LGBTQ + youth, local businesses and community. Congratulations Noel!

We are so excited to see another one of our #DbacksGiveBack Ken Kendrick Grand Slam Award grant winners projects come to life! A New Leaf received a grant to further their mission of “Helping Families: Changing Lives" by supporting the purchase of a used box truck with a liftgate and pallet jack, making pickup and delivery of donations much more efficient and allowing easier transport of donated goods. A New Leaf has accepted donations of in-kind items from individuals, companies, and community organizations for more than 25 years, including 8 years at the current Donation Center location at the La Mesita Community in Mesa. Last year, more than $1.9 million in donated items was received to support the basic needs of 23,315 adults and children served through A New Leaf’s many programs across the Phoenix Metro area.
