Thanks to a grant from the Governor's Office, ARIZONA@WORK Maricopa County launched the "Workforce 2 You" pilot program, offering no-cost training programs in the rural communities of Gila Bend, Wickenburg, and Queen Creek. In partnership with Maricopa Corporate College, the 10-12 week programs provide training for in-demand careers, allowing participants to learn new skills without traveling far into the Phoenix metro area. ▶ Watch the video to learn more about the Workforce 2 You Medical Coding program currently underway in Gila Bend.

Thanks to the hard work and collaboration of everyone involved, we achieved some amazing results: 71 pre-screens conducted by employers 12 on-the-spot interviews 39 interviews scheduled for follow-up A huge thank you to Sam Amaya, our Town Planner, for helping market our vacancies and resources, and to Jeff Kulaga, our Town Manager, for his continued support.
