As Technician Appreciation Week winds down, we’re still celebrating the hardworking technicians in our state who are keeping the wheels moving in our industry. The equipment that moves our economy stays safe, efficient, and dependable because of the men and women who maintain the trucks and trailers we all share the road with. Join us in investing in the future technician workforce through the Carl Tapp Technician Scholarship. To support this work, visit https://ow.ly/Ny1k50TvqJq. 🛠️ In May 2024, the Arkansas Trucking Association Scholarship Fund received 501c3 status, meaning that all donations to the Carl Tapp Technician Scholarship are considered charitable and deductible.

Skilled and knowledgeable maintenance is key to the trucking industry's success. Last week, that knowledge was put to the test at the National Technician Skills Competition in Raleigh, NC. Arkansas was represented at both TMCSuperTech, the professional competition track, and TMCFutureTech, the student competition track. Join us in congratulating Allyson Zamayoa, a student at Northwest Technical Institute, on her 1st place win in the electronic engine diagnostics station. A huge round of applause goes to Jordan Burris from Tyson Foods on securing 1st place in the central tire inflation station.
