𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟏𝟎𝟏 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝! As of 1 October 2024, ArmyIgnitED 101 training is required before Soldiers can get an education goal approved. Soldiers can access the training via MS TEAMS, or their state education office. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁! 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳, 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘆𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗘𝗗 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. Soldiers who have previously used ArmyIgnitED to receive FTA are exempt from this requirement.

Did you know? You can move months between your dependents while you’re serving or after you separate but you CANNOT add a new dependent after you separate.

#MythBustingMonday #Myth: I need to schedule an appointment to talk to someone at my education office. #Fact:  While most ARNG Education offices allow walk-ins, it’s best to call ahead to schedule an appointment to ensure a counselor will be available.

CPT Dana Tamayo-ESO, SSG Jerico Del Castillo-ESS, and SGT Tracelyn Perez-Education Services Assistant During FY 24, the team has increased the utilization of FTA and CA from 3% of our end strength to 15%. We’ve had 6 education Institution visits on post providing our Soldiers opportunities to pursue various degree programs from University of Guam and Guam Community College or Credential professional certificates from Texas A&M University, Auburn University, and New Horizons Guam. Our team's aggressive marketing efforts included 5 Yellow Ribbon events, mandatory brief participation, monthly unit-level briefs, and outreach engagements to our Soldiers and Education Institutions located in Saipan (Northern Marianas). Congratulations Guam on all your achievements!
