“While the room was filled with investment professionals, a recurring theme was the need to frame the right narrative for advisors to relay to clients—keeping them invested through appropriate storytelling. Some firms succeeded in making investments tangible through deal-specific stories, while others took a more abstract approach.”-CAIA Association #artmeccainsights https://lnkd.in/gU37dGGx

ART MECCA Artist: Marcy Brafman Curated by: Sam Jackson Gallery Partner: Gramercy Park Studios + Charles Smith Gallery, https://lnkd.in/gvU9EBW6 Exhibit: “Surface Skin” Date: 3/21/25-4/18/25 Address: 25 Great Pulteney Street, London, W1F 9LT, England Artist Bio: Marcy is an established artist that lives and works in a studio in New York City, overlooking the Holland Tunnel. In Marcy’s creative world, paintings are oracles of the miraculous and terrible. Her artworks are born of Jackson Pollock, the end of nature, comic strips, cartoons, John Singer Sargent and a toxic immersion in the living billboard of digital life. That being said, paintings are mix-mastered with Marshall McLuhan, Velazquez, Karl Marx, Thorsten Veblen, daytime television, and motion poetry on the street. The images in her work can be considered empathic gestures. They deal with situations which are inherently symbolic, taking on the symbol as an icon and mining it for its humanistic traits mired in a narrative that exist outside the art world but inside the human condition. “In real estate, investment volumes—following a sharp decline from their 2021 peak—are beginning to stabilise. Data from the latter half of 2024 indicates a recovery trend, reinforcing the increasing role of private capital in the sector. Notably, 44% of family offices plan to increase their real estate investments, underlining continued confidence in the market’s long-term prospects.”-Knight Frank #artmeccainsights https://lnkd.in/fvjga6H

ART MECCA Artist: Craig Anthony Miller Gallery Partner: The Noble Brooklyn, https://lnkd.in/g9cUhyVK Exhibit: “Brooklyn Bouquet” Date: 3/7/25-Present Location: 148 Noble St, Brooklyn, NY 11222 Artist Bio: Craig Anthony Miller (b. 1971) was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received his BFA in graphic design from St. John's University in Queens, New York. His professional graphic art practice gave way to his natural transition into painting. The opportunity to share his creative process at a live painting event on the Lower East Side in 1996 was the first in a series of events that would lead him to shift his focus primarily to painting. Working primarily in acrylic and aerosol paints, both in studio and public spaces, CAM has created a series of paintings and murals that combine the style of stained glass and the energy of the urban landscape with symbols of freedom, strength, resilience and well-being. He targets Meditation and Mindset with a personal quote of “Always Be Mindful Of Your Ability to Fly” and “Keep your Head To Your Crown.” Productions of work feature the Hindu Deity Lord Ganesh, as well as birds- a popular symbol for freedom of flight. The “Pursuit of Nectar” Series -represented by the hummingbird- holds many positive symbolic interpretations, making it another very effective totem.
