On February 25-26, the ArtMED project team gathered at École Centrale Lyon for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting to assess our progress and set the course for the second year. 🔹 A Major Milestone: We unveiled our web-based assessment tool, designed to help public authorities evaluate the feasibility of on-demand and autonomous mobility solutions in their regions. This tool provides initial service design estimates, fleet sizing insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs)—stay tuned for its official release! 💡 From Concept to Reality: Our partners took part in an interactive design thinking workshop, using the tool to draft their first service designs for local deployment. 🔍 Expert Insights: We had the pleasure of welcoming Philippe GACHE and Marine THOMASSON from CARA Transport & Mobility Systems, who shared valuable knowledge from French autonomous freight initiatives, bridging research with real-world applications. With these advancements, ArtMED continues to drive smarter, more sustainable mobility across Europe. 🚍 Transforming Public Transport in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area 🌍 TML – Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa is paving the way for a flexible, efficient, and sustainable transport network with Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT) innovations. 🔮 Vision Statement The goal is to improve accessibility in low-demand areas while reducing unnecessary trips and optimizing resources.
