5 Work Trips in 6 Weeks ✨ September and October were a wild time! I got to see so many people that inspire me and that I look forward to connecting with every year. After a year full of travel, this almost sent me over the edge (lol) but we did it! TL:DR - 5 amazing trips with people I'm lucky to spend time with and learn from, flying direct is important, and in this case 5 work trips = 5 work karaoke experiences (and frankly, that's just simply too many). I'm going to share a bit about each, but here's my highlights: 1. Reciprocity Road Sales Event - Scottsdale, AZ - Sept 8-11 Meeting our new network of distributors and suppliers focused on supporting each other, giving back to communities, and producing innovative product. 2. commonsku's #skucamp - Nashville, TN - Sept 15-18 Was honored to be asked to speak for one of the sessions in front of a large audience for the first time ever! My legs were shaky and confident that my heartbeat could be heard through the mic, but I was lucky to be surrounded by such supportive industry colleagues. **Actual highlight was Bobby Lehew introducing me to the stage as one of his favorite people on the planet which is crazy coming from someone so well loved in the industry 🙏🏼 👯♀️ 3. Whitestone 3rd Annual Offsite - Denver, CO - Sept 23-27 Just in time for prime leaf-peepin’-season - We shared a ton of information about our new Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives that we’re rolling out, conquered a ropes course, and had some eye opening karaoke performances. https://lnkd.in/gj2UujpK 4. PPAI - Promotional Products Association International Leadership Development Conference - Dallas, TX - Sept 29 - Oct 2 The event mixed both the Regional Associations of our industry with the Emerging Leaders and Rising Star Winners. We worked on some annual goals, connected over BBQ, and made new friends. Shoutout to Josh Ellis, Ellen Tucker, CAE and the PPAI team for hosting us! 5. The Advertising Specialty Institute Power Summit - San Diego, CA - Oct 13 - 15 Where the industry unveils the 50 Most Influential people in Promo alongside a packed speaker schedule. This year, the themes were around M&A, Tech & Automation, and International Operations - comically on target with our internal conversations after bringing on Tod Ellington as our new VP of Ops, focused on elevating our processes through automation, and completing our first two Acquisitions, one being an international operation. After all that, I'm excited to be back at my computer to tackle Q4 / Holiday, and plan for 2025. I felt super grateful the past few weeks and look forward to all that's to come. 🍾 💫 ☀

Double the Impact: What Print & Promo Distributors Should Know About Each Market There’s huge sales opportunity in offering both print and promo solutions – but each industry has its learning curves. Here’s what you need to know. • Value of Being a One-Stop Shop: Offering both print and promo products makes a distributor indispensable, reducing the likelihood of clients seeking other vendors. Professionals moving from print to promo can leverage their art and color knowledge but need to learn new decoration techniques and understand the vast array of promo products and suppliers. • Artwork & Graphic Design Challenges: Print projects require significant technical knowledge, including understanding paper types and decoration techniques. Having a graphic designer or partnering with trade printers is crucial to manage these complexities. • Competitive Challenges in Print: The print industry faces competition from big box and online printers. Distributors can differentiate by providing exceptional customer service and focusing on high-volume items like direct mail. 🖋️ Hannah Rosenberger https://lnkd.in/ebkAe-eb
