Cadmus is well-versed in clinical alerts as he designs, audits, and monitors them. Working closely with clients to define their clinical program goals, Cadmus translates those goals into specifications for the development team to implement. He also collaborates with clients making sure the end product meets their expectations. When did you start at Aspen RxHealth? What brought you here? The clinical expertise that pharmacists bring to patient care is something that, outside of healthcare facilities, has been largely underutilized. Aspen presents a model where pharmacists, regardless of setting, can apply their clinical skills to improve patient care and safety while empowering them to become self-sufficient independent contractors. The opportunity to be an integral part of that evolution was too exciting to ignore. What do you enjoy most about the Aspen RxHealth team? I enjoy working alongside a diverse collection of brilliant people who have a common goal of revolutionizing the pharmacist’s role in healthcare. What is the most rewarding part of your role? The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the impact of our clinical programs manifest in real-time. Every success, every change in adherence behavior, that crosses my desk is a life with improved medical outcomes. That’s a person who will have a better quality of life and potentially live longer with fewer hospitalizations than if we hadn’t talked with them.
