“This is a key moment in revolutionizing our operations thanks to AI. As a strategic partner of Assaia, Aeroporti di Roma will be able to improve airport collaborative decision making through more accurate predictive off block time. This will significantly improve the passenger experience as well as streamlining our processes and optimizing our turnarounds. For a busy international airport like FCO potential delays have a knock-on effect across the apron. The potential here is immense.” said Ivan Bassato, Chief Aviation Officer at Aeroporti di Roma Assaia – The ApronAI ApronAI to optimize turnarounds at Rome's Fiumicino Airport- https://lnkd.in/dVjQ-72X #AviationFest #WAF2024

Great results Thomas Hoff Andersson and the BER - Berlin Brandenburg Airport team. Thrilled we can help you deliver improved results with access to real time actionable data to make better and faster decisions.
Managing Director (MD) & Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) | Member of the Executive Board of Directors | Geschäftsführer | Administrerende Direktør | Verkställande Direktör
Our joint efforts start to pay off. Baggage delivery times have been a pain point since the BER opening, but started to stabilise in July. August numbers were great and September was even better. For 95% of all arrivals (8200), first bag was delivered within 30 minutes and 99,82% within 60 minutes. Only 15 arrivals needed more than an hour. Well done by our ground handling partners WISAG, Airline Assistance Switzerland (AAS) and Swissport as well as our BER - Berlin Brandenburg Airport Resilience team. For reference, the numbers for corresponding month 2023 were 80% within 30 minutes, 95% within 60 minutes and almost 400 arrivals with more than 60 minutes. We now have 33 stands fully equipped with Assaia – The ApronAI digital turnaround system. This provides a full real time view of the situation on the ground and allows the airport community in our Airport Control Center to take better and faster decisions. Soon the system will be installed on all 49 stands on Apron A, B and C. #BER #Airport #Performance #Teamwork
