✨Monday mantra...sometimes you really do need to slow down to speed up. In the rush to find a solution to a problem, it’s tempting to slap on a quick answer and keep going, but true, lasting solutions require knowing the problem inside and out. Our Approach? Sitting in the trenches with clients, getting cozy with the chaos, and looking at a problem from every angle. Progress doesn’t come from spinning wheels on 4 AM slide builds—it comes from pausing, thinking strategically, and asking the right questions. This is especially important in our line of work, where understanding the nuances of patient needs and experiences is crucial. The strategic choices we make have the power to shape an organization's approach, profoundly impacting patient communities and the healthcare professionals that serve them worldwide. So the next time you’re feeling the heat, pause to ask—are we clear on what we’re really solving? If not, take a beat. Strategy first, always. 💡#MondayMantra #StrategyFirst #PatientEngagement

Every disease area, every community, every advocate deserves resources that truly reflect their unique experiences, needs, and capabilities. Yet, the overwhelming flood of how-tos, webinars, guidebooks, podcasts, and training programs can make it hard to know where to start or which ones truly add value. So many new tools—slightly different but often covering the same ground—distract from the creation of truly impactful, additive resources, which are still very much needed. We’ve been there—spending too much time sifting through what’s already available and answering the same questions over and over. So we decided to make it easier. Enter our Master Patient Advocacy Resource Tracker: a consolidated repository of the knowledge and tools that already exist to support patient advocates. From navigating clinical trials and understanding the drug development process to getting involved in legislative advocacy, there’s no shortage of comprehensive resources produced by patient advocacy groups, regulators, health authorities, and more. Some quick notes on our compilation: ➡️ We haven’t rated the quality or utility of these resources, but we've organized them by topic to make it easier to explore what’s publicly available and free to use. ➡️ This is a living document that captures the resources we are aware of. We didn’t create or contribute to any of these materials ourselves, but plan to continue updating it—if you have suggestions, let us know! This resource repository isn’t just another tool in the toolbox; it’s a license to refocus energy on more actionable and impactful investments by seeing what’s out there at a glance. Download for an interactive experience! #PatientAdvocacy #AdvocacyTools #PatientEngagement #SharedSolutions 🚨IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: These aren’t our resources—they were developed by brilliant organizations doing amazing work, and we encourage you to check out their stuff to learn more. 📚💡

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are proud to share a campaign we supported that hits particularly close to home and reminds us why health equity and patient advocacy are at the core of what we do. We had the pleasure of establishing a bespoke partnership between No Patient Left Behind and the Brem Foundation to Defeat Breast Cancer to conduct a joint HarrisX survey focused on illuminating key barriers when it comes to accessing breast care in the US. The survey uncovered a shocking reality: out-of-pocket costs are preventing women from accessing breast cancer screenings and life-saving treatment. The data shows nearly 28 million women aged 40-74 haven’t had a breast cancer screening in the past year—and cost is one of the biggest deterrents. Even more concerning, nearly half of the women surveyed said they would forego treatment altogether if out-of-pocket costs charged by their health plans exceeded $2,000. We’ve seen dramatic advances in prognosis and patient outcomes when breast cancer is caught and treated early, but what good is all of this innovation if patients can’t access the very tests and treatments that improve their odds? These figures should be a call to action for legislators. Women shouldn’t have to choose between their health and their finances. It’s high time we take a hard look at our health insurance system and take steps to mend what’s clearly broken. Thank you to our #client partners for the opportunity to support what has truly become a passion project for us. It serves as a poignant reminder that when tackling complex health equity issues, one doesn’t have to go it alone.   👉 Read more about the partnership here: https://lnkd.in/eetC2d7P. From formal advocacy coalitions to purpose-built partnerships like these, we have years of experience facilitating collaborations that drive shared missions forward. It’s National Patient Advocacy Day. There’s plenty to celebrate, but today is also an indictment of the healthcare systems that require a whole subspecialty just to make them work for the people they’re supposed to serve. Understaffed hospitals, overworked providers, climbing costs, and endless red tape often leave patients overwhelmed and lost in the shuffle. Patient advocates step in to close the gaps that should never exist in the first place. It’s tedious, tiring, and critical work. National Patient Advocacy Day shines a spotlight on the crucial work these advocates do to support patients, influence health policy, and build a more equitable healthcare system. 📝 For those looking for training, check out the National Patient Advocate Foundation's Curriculum here:  https://lnkd.in/gRQaafiB. 📢 For patients and caregivers looking to share their experiences with a broken system, share your story with our #client, No Patient Left Behind, here: https://lnkd.in/gT2nV6Wn. We hope that one day patients won’t need an advocate. Systems will be built for them, with them, from the beginning. Until then, we’re celebrating advocates who make it work. #NationalPatientAdvocacyDay

Data, measurement, and reporting are usually the last line item—an afterthought—appended to projected budget sheets and strategic plans. That era is officially over. Amidst flat or shrinking budgets, structural reorgs, and new leadership priorities, the key to consistently demonstrating efficiency and value in patient engagement and advocacy initiatives is…better data. Bolt on measurement strategies are not going to cut it. Leading with data will open new doors for your team to serve as a resource and partner across the organization, reinforcing that patient centricity is a business driver. Regulatory movement, increasing patient demands, and a competitive market are pushing the industry to get clearer on the value of patient engagement now. Read on for more on why data capture is crucial to elevating patient engagement across R&D and commercial initiatives. #patientengagement #patientcentricity
