Another installation project highlight! Working on a client's production room. A new hard panel ceiling was installed over their machinery and we relocated 68 sprinklers to accommodate the new construction. Work was completed over two weekends to allow the client to keep their weekly production schedule intact. AFP completed an entire building upgrade for a new office space with overhead piping and riser build. We installed all new feed piping and branch lines that feed 135 sprinklers down to a height just above office walls. All sprinkler flexes are in place and ready to be set when the ceilings go in. Repairing a leak on welded 8” pipe is not the easiest of tasks, but our team was ready. The leak was in a tough spot to access so we needed to replace a few sections of piping with new grooved pipe and fittings to make it work. All completed in a busy day so that the customer could have their system back in service that day. #repairs #firesafety

Proud to play a part in this project, the rebuilding of the Albert Lawson VFW Hall in Passaic, NJ. AFP designed and installed over 125 new fire sprinkler heads throughout the structure. Our contract was with Habitat for Humanity, an organization which helps construct affordable homes. Closing the year out with another big installation project in a 635,000 square foot warehouse. Our team installed a new system feeding the first of three racks. This involved over 600 ft of four inch piping from new riser to inside the flue space of rack with 230 two-inch branch lines for face sprinkler protection totaling 345 sprinklers on one single level. A great job - this one came in under budget and ahead of schedule. #firesafety #installation #sprinklersystem
