It's a week of in-person training and team-building for AHAM staff from the U.S. and Canada. On Tuesday, we welcomed AHAM Board Chair Dr. Dochul Choi, Senior Vice President of Global Business & Technology Strategy, Samsung Electronics. Simply, it is that no peer-reviewed, sound field study conducted in the U.S. supports what the labels would be required to state. The proposed label would spread misinformation that would do nothing but alarm and confuse consumers." AB 2513 would require manufacturers to affix prominent labels to gas cooking appliances that make unsupported statements linking gas cooking to health issues.
