As #HurricaneMilton approaches, Atlantic Logistics is implementing crucial measures to ensure the safety of our team, clients, and partners while minimizing operational disruption. We are asking all shippers to delay non-essential shipments into evacuation zones until conditions are safer, unless the cargo is directly related to storm preparation efforts. For the safety of our team, we will be closing our offices on Thursday as the storm makes its way through Florida. However, our dedicated team will remain available remotely to answer any questions and help manage changes to your shipping schedules. We are working closely with each of our clients to offer flexible solutions during this challenging time. We urge everyone to stay informed, follow local emergency guidelines, and reach out to us for any support you may need. At Atlantic Logistics, safety and communication remain our top priorities. Stay safe, and we will get through this together.

Recently, COO, Johnnie Greene, sat down with First Coast News, shedding light on the effects of the dockworkers’ strike at the East Coast Ports. Johnnie spoke about the ripple effects this disruption has caused across industries, especially for companies depending on the smooth flow of goods through the port. The good news? There’s been a temporary end to the strike, which provides much-needed relief for businesses and supply chains alike. While this is a positive step forward, it reminds us how fragile these critical operations can be without collaboration and quick solutions. At Atlantic Logistics, we’re committed to navigating these challenges while keeping our clients’ needs top of mind. We will continue to adapt and innovate to ensure supply chains remain strong—even in the face of uncertainty. Check out the full article here.

At Atlantic Logistics, we understand the challenges that come with these disruptions. With our expertise in rerouting, multi-modal solutions, and real-time communication, we're here to ensure that your cargo gets where it needs to be. In times of uncertainty, clear communication with clients becomes essential. Customers need to know how their #supplychains are being affected, and we are here for both transparency and solutions. If you need assistance with navigating through the anticipated closure of these ports, please reach out and we'd be more than happy to be a part of your solution.

In just a few days, a labor strike threatens to shut down all 36 ports along the Eastern and Gulf Coasts, crippling the #supplychain and sidelining tens of thousands of #truckers who move cargo in and out of these vital ports every day. ATA President and CEO Chris Spear spoke with NewsNation this evening about the economic fallout of a strike and why the absence of political leadership is to blame.
