Our Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Shawn Verlinden has been appointed as CEO and President. Shawn joined AUCH in 2013, and since then has played a key role in project operations and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2022. He holds a Master’s in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Michigan and looks forward to continuing AUCH’s commitment to growth and "Building on Tradition with Passion." Shawn truly exemplifies AUCH’s core values, and we are thrilled to move forward together.

The McLaren Oakland Oxford freestanding ED is open! In addition to the ED, the building also provides PT/Cardiac Rehab, Imaging, Outpatient Lab, Family Medicine, and Occupational health with Oncology following suit in November this year. Working as Owner's Representative, we helped coordinate the contractors, schedules, quality control even down to medical equipment planning. It was great to come along side partners such as Hobbs+Black Architects, AUCH Construction, and Synergy again! https://lnkd.in/gSZNVty8

With extreme excitement and fanfare, ribbon cuttings were held for Holly Area Schools' newly renovated track and field, along with the new Construction Trades Center. It's a great time to be a student at Holly High School! #K12Education #Constructiontrades #Newturf #Trackenvy #Gobronchos

Like poetry in motion! It's mesmerizing to see the transformation of Walled Lake Consolidated Schools Western High School. The two-story addition has been completed, and the second phase of the design has commenced. This phase includes interior renovations, demolition of three zones, and the installation of a new exterior wall with brick and metal panels. #K12Education #TMParchitecture

Site Visit with Presentation & Pizza - Count Us In! After an informative presentation by the project intern, AUCH interns and Project Engineers hit the site for an exciting tour of the construction progress at Holly Area Schools' brand-new Middle School. It's looking wonderful, team!

After 15 months of construction, the $9.7 million renovation and addition at Oakland University’s O’Dowd Hall came down to a simple countdown Thursday. Led by Christopher Carpenter, M.D., Stephan Sharf Dean, OUWB, a group of Oakland University and OUWB dignitaries — and others involved in the project — cut a ceremonial ribbon to officially re-open the building. “This is a huge step forward for OUWB,” said Carpenter. “It’s going to be an environment that allows our students to be that much more successful.”
