Inspired by the mission of its founders, Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts, the Club strives to promote the virtues of the game through the Masters, Augusta National Women’s Amateur, Drive, Chip and Putt, Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and Latin America Amateur Championship. Earlier this year, Augusta National Golf Club employees participated in the Club’s fourth annual Month of Service. Through several unique volunteer opportunities with Golden Harvest Food Bank, the Junior Achievement Discovery Center of the CSRA, the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, Apparo Academy and the Augusta Symphony, employees served a record-breaking 1,222 hours. Our employees are proud to continue making a positive impact in the community they call home.

As a part of Augusta National Golf Club’s mission to give back to the community, we are committed to supporting those who continuously work to make Augusta a better place for all who call it home. The Hometown Heroes program annually recognizes local healthcare providers, first responders, volunteers, policemen, firefighters, teachers and others who exhibit unparalleled service and sacrifice. To thank these individuals for their tireless efforts, each Hometown Hero is invited to attend the Masters Tournament, where Augusta National and their fellow community members can celebrate their service. Last week, we honored our 2025 Hometown Heroes with a reception at the HUB for Community Innovation.
