#TeamAWC recently gathered for lunch and a walkthrough of the Central Utility Plant project, currently wrapping up for one of our largest local clients. Auld & White Constructors received a job site visit from Cornerstone Classical Academy’s VPK class today. For Superintendent Adam, whose children attend CCA, this project holds special meaning. It’s the opportunity to create a space where his kids and their classmates can thrive and grow. Adam gave the children a lesson on being a builder, explaining his safety gear and why it’s important to always stay protected on the job site. The kids even had their own Q&A session with him, asking some very important questions – including his favorite foods (spoiler: it’s chicken nuggets, french fries, and ice cream). A few months ago, Auld & White Constructors Superintendent Dan Clark began noticing shortness of breath and chest pains after exercising and working around the house. Initially, Dan thought it was just part of getting older, but as his symptoms worsened, he noticed that his blood pressure was high, and he constantly felt fatigued. With a family history of heart disease, including two uncles who had undergone heart surgeries, he knew genetics could be a factor. Despite these warning signs, Dan kept pushing through until one Sunday evening, while watching football at home, he suddenly experienced severe chest pain. SEPTEMBER UPDATE | Cornerstone Classical Academy - Exciting progress continues at Cornerstone Classical Academy, where Auld & White Constructors is moving ahead on the school’s new 63,000+ square-foot facility. The tilt-up panels are completed and the roof over the classroom section is now framed. Framing on the gym portion is up next. Once finished, the building will house a two-story upper school with modern classrooms and laboratories, as well as a one-story section that includes a gym, cafeteria/practice gym, and kitchen. #buildingyourfuture #local #trusted #leader #nextgeneration #education #construction #jacksonville
