Why is everyone going crazy over canned water?💧 From degrading tap water quality, to the desire to get the most out of something we need to survive, the premium water category is unquestionably on the rise. Tracksuit data shows that in the US Millennials and Gen Z are the biggest premium water drinkers, with 47% category penetration. That means almost 1/2 purchase (or are willing to purchase) premium water. With the soaring success of brands like Liquid Death, currently valued at a whopping $1.4 billion, the demand is clearly there. And need we say it, defining and building a distinct brand in this category is fundamental, since it's the key differentiator for a product you can only do so much with. In a recent article, we dive into the trends shaping the water industry, and what we can learn from the brands making a splash like Liquid Death, Aura Bora and FIJI Water 💦 🔗 to article is in the comments

Sweet! Spicy! Fresh! Welcome in the summer with the perfect, opposites-attract pairing of sweet, ripe watermelon and nose-tingling ancho chili. 🍉🌶️🔥 Watermelon Chili was made in partnership with our friends over at P.F. Candle Co. - it is inspired by their summer scent, Watermelon & Chili! https://lnkd.in/ePVviA5V

This morning, Fast Company published my favorite piece of press in the short history of Aura Bora. I'm very grateful that Zachary Petit understands what we're trying to do with this sparkling water business, his writing is crisp and fun, and he was truly a delight to speak with. Thank you Zac! Bonus: he featured so many great photos from Cody O'Loughlin, a gifted photographer and dear friend for over 15 years. (And if you need A+ photos for your CPG brand, please DM me so I can intro you to Cody.) I won’t intro you to PR whiz Nikki Gryll though— she’s too good to be shared with other clients. I know that’s selfish but it’s honest too. And big thanks to LaCroix for putting flavored sparkling waters on the map in the US. If anyone reads this and thinks, "that guy sounds petty," you're right but let's hold both things at the same time?

Aura Bora is making sparkling water fun again as we disrupt what was a boring and bland category 👏🏻.

Let’s talk limited-edition collabs. Collabs are incredible marketing tools and a great way to reach a new audience, test concepts without fulling committing, show what your brand stands for, and keep things fresh and exciting for your existing audience. Take these examples: 👉Last year women-owned brands Fishwife and TALEA Beer Co. collabed on a limited edition smokey lager. But they didn’t just post about it. They created community among their 2 brands by hosting a dinner at Talea’s brewery where they invited people to enjoy Fishwife, snacks and sip on some Talea x Fishwife beer. 👉Ghia did a limited-edition ice cream flavor featuring its new with Indonesian ice cream brand Awan. This collab featured Ghia’s newest apéritif flavor - Berry - and was only available in LA which created excitement and FOMO - key things in a limited edition collab! 👉Aura Bora is constantly dropping limited edition flavors on its DTC site. Why? It keeps things refreshing and exciting plus it makes loyal customers hard-core fans of the brand. And remember when they did that crazy collab with Graza for the olive oil martini?!
