The future of architecture must be sustainable and innovative, and Hiten Sethi & Associates is making sure of it! Their Science Park in Mumbai - which won the AEC Best Building Design Project Award at the Autodesk 2023 Design & Make Awards - uses #renewableenergy practices like solar panels and daylight harvesting systems and features impressive architecture integrating glass and steel. Throughout the park, there are plenty of interactive activities to help engage and empower visitors to learn sustainable behaviors they can bring into their everyday life. With the help of Autodesk technology, the Science Park is changing the way we navigate design and build responsibly. Did you know, in Latin America 81% of people live in cities? Most people in this region are feeling the impacts of densely populated city living, facing challenges of pollution, access to transportation, and subpar infrastructure. With these issues only continuing to rise across the world, leaders are turning to tools like #AI to help innovate ways to combat these challenges. AI can be used to help identify structural and environmental challenges specific to various regions, transform urban design more quickly, and analyze urban forestry to ensure healthy and equitable #biodiversity. By using AI, leaders can focus on what really matters – creating livable, equitable cities for all. Learn more about the ways AI is helping develop equitable urbanism here: https://autode.sk/3AACGUq

Today, the US construction workforce is short more than half a million workers. With the shortage of workers, organizations like Revolution Workshop are looking to change that. Revolution Workshop is a nonprofit that helps people of color from historically disadvantaged neighborhoods in Chicago by providing training programs in essential trade skills and modern construction management. For participants in Revolution Workshop workforce development programs, a career in construction is more than a job—it’s a chance to build a brighter, more stable future for themselves and their communities. By promoting diversity and inclusion within the construction industry, fostering long-term relationships, and creating supportive networks, Revolution Workshop is helping to uplift communities and reduce violence through stable employment.
