When you get a chance to spend time with the next generation of great minds, it’s easy to feel optimistic about the future. AST has been fortunate to have two talented, hardworking individuals, Aryan Chauhan and Utkarsh Mittal, join us for our summer internship program. They’ll be concluding their time with us, and we wanted to take a moment to wish them the very best and thank them for joining the AST family.      Aryan is returning to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to continue pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.   “The people at AST really helped me feel welcome and went out of their way to get me up to speed. I was given the opportunity to work on all sorts of technologies, from low-level hardware controls to machine learning. I especially appreciated how the company was willing to match my appetite for learning—if there was something I was interested in and wanted to learn about, I was given the support and tools needed to pursue it. It felt rewarding to work in an industry that profoundly impacts people’s lives.”   Utkarsh is also returning to the U of I, continuing his studies in Mechanical Engineering.    “I'm grateful to be a part of the innovative and hardworking team at AST. Working in an engineering-focused environment, I knew that every design consideration had to be well thought through and the guidance I received was invaluable in ensuring that. Every day was a chance to learn something new. “   Please join us in showing some #LinkedIn appreciation for Utkarsh and Aryan. We’re excited to see what opportunities lie ahead for you both! #Internship #FutureLeaders #LifeSciences

For high-value liquid pharmaceuticals, a well-designed, efficient aseptic processing system is crucial to operational success. Cell and gene therapies, in particular, require high levels of stewardship and security to ensure product integrity. Considerations like implementing a clear first in, first out principle and minimizing product exposure and processing time are essential in any fill-line configuration. At the recent Virtual Pharma Expo, VP of Sales and Marketing Joshua Russell gave a live demonstration of our GENiSYS R system from AST headquarters and discussed our unique modular approach to configuring fill-finish lines to meet our customers’ needs.    Follow the link to check out the full presentation and read a rundown of some of the latest features and innovations available on our GENiSYS R system ▶ https://lnkd.in/grF6JRbQ #AsepticProcessing #TurnkeySolutions #CellandGene #Biopharma
