The ACE it! Master Certification Program Insights from Session 1: We have started stripping ourselves of habits that don’t serve us and remembering what it feels like to learn new things. Holding a pen and watching the ideas start to flow. Simple tasks for high functioning people can launch us into a new zone. Just using a pen to write down ideas rather than blurting them out can help us think deeper and shift our perspective. Part of the ACE it! Method involves problem-solving with others. When we broke out into small groups for our first homework exercise, it was a great chance to catch a glimpse of other people’s work lives—and just how many similarities there are for us. Aiming for efficient meetings, positive relationships with colleagues, and moving exciting projects ahead—ACE it! can help. First, following the A - Address - phase of the ACE process, we present our team with a challenge, then we transform that challenge into a question. Second, entering the C - Create phase - we take 90 seconds and write with a pen and paper as many solutions as we can think of during that time. Infinite time can actually limit us, and humans love boundaries - it was great to have a 90 countdown clock to the get the great ideas flowing. We each share those solutions, and then whittle down our list to two or three top priority solutions. Now it´s time to E as in execute, to act on the solutions and try them out. There are three take-aways: 1. When tackling a challenge, think “process-before-content”, don´t jump to solutions, 2. The pen is a powerful tool to get clarity and create ideas, 3. The ACE it! Master Certification Fall/Winter Program Session 1: Back to the Basics We welcomed our second cohort of 2023 to the ACE it! Master Certification Program. Back in school, being curious, feeling new. The novelty of these programs is refreshing and fun, a reboot for people in every stage of their career. Participants came together from all walks of life, 10 different countries and more than a dozen different industries to find a common purpose. These future experts of the process started with impressive and fun introductions and breakout sessions over Zoom, and then dove right into problem solving. Dividing people up in smaller groups helped them start to familiarize themselves with the process. Which process? The 3-step ACE process: 1. Address, 2. Create, and 3. Execute. Building out this tool enables us to turn any problem into an opportunity. Autoris has proven methodology based on research and decades of training experience.
