About us

Autumn Harp is a specialized R&D and Manufacturing partner in the cosmetics and skincare industry located just outside of Burlington, Vermont. We are experts at innovating cutting edge technology and texture formulations, certified organic and natural formulations, water-based technology and color cosmetics. The Autumn Harp journey began when two naturalists pedaling their remedy herbs and salves around the New England countryside broke down in their van. They setup shop and sold their brand (Un-Petroleum) to focus exclusively on private label manufacturing while diversifying the product mix. Today we reside in Essex Junction where we have a staff of over 250 people and a state-of-the-art campus that has a total of over 225,000 square feet. Autumn Harp supplies products that sell in over 60 countries around the world, across all categories including OTC and SPF. Our expertise is rooted in anhydrous manufacturing excellence, but quickly extends across a myriad of new formats, including emulsions.

Today we’re welcoming Marlee Bov, our new Sales Manager! Here’s what she shared about joining the AH family… I’m thrilled to join the Autumn Harp team and look forward to growing in this new role. What excites me most is the vibrant company culture, characterized by teams that value collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity while working toward a common goal. I believe beauty is not just about products but also about the stories and connections behind them, and it’s clear these values resonate at Autumn Harp. I eagerly anticipate the challenges and successes ahead and am happy to be part of this team!   Outside of work, I’m passionate about my dog Ziggy; he truly is my pride and joy. In my free time, you can find me tossing a ball at the dog park, enjoying Vermont’s beautiful outdoors, cooking something delicious, or diving into my latest TV show binge. I cherish good food and great company, finding joy in life’s simple moments. It doesn’t take much to turn an ordinary day into a memorable one!

Today we celebrate our Director of Culture, Chris Hubbell, for 20 years of making khaki look fabulous and policies sound almost readable! A group of folks showed up as Chris clones, bringing back the excitement of the Gap Khakis era. The rest are still perfecting that "just wrote a 50-page policy" glow. Some overachievers want to make today "ChrisGiving" - because nothing says "thanks" like mandatory vest fittings and dramatic readings of the employee handbook. Here's to you, Chris! May your vest pockets always be full of pens, and your policies as concise as your wardrobe choices. (Seriously, keep those announcements short. Our eyes can only handle so much fine print.) Happy 20 years! Here's to hoping the next 20 bring variety to your closet and brevity to your policies. We'll keep dreaming! #20YearsOfChris #ChrisGiving #VestAndPoliciesForever

🎉 Celebrating Heidi Masterson's 30 Years at Autumn Harp! 🎉 Today, we honor Heidi Masterson's remarkable 30-year journey with us. Her leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our customers have been instrumental in shaping Autumn Harp. Heidi's passion for teamwork and desire to grow the business have inspired us all. More than a colleague, she's family to us, touching the lives of everyone at Autumn Harp with her kindness and enthusiasm. In Heidi's own words: "30 years... that was fast. I have watched my own family grow over this time as well as my work family. I have watched the company grow from 30 people making a few lip balms, to what we are today and I'm very proud to be a part of that. I have met some amazing people, both co-workers (and co-workers who feel like family) as well as vendors & customers. There are too many memories to count. I'm thankful for the opportunities I have had and the people I have met." Thank you, Heidi, for being the heart of Autumn Harp for three decades! #AutumnHarp #WorkAnniversary #30YearsStrong

At Autumn Harp, we're proud of our employees who dedicate their time to serving others. Here are just a few examples of how our team is making an impact: Mike spent decades volunteering for fire and rescue services, serving on two rescue squads and four fire departments. His passion for helping others in crisis led him to a career in Environmental Health and Safety. Nicole has been delivering meals to about 20 elderly individuals through Age Well's Meals on Wheels program for 2.5 years. She says, "I like helping people who might not have anyone else knocking on their door." John volunteers with Dragonheart Vermont, promoting breast cancer awareness and offering hope to survivors and their families. The organization supported John and his wife when they needed it, and he's been giving back for three years. June has been a board member for Middlebury Flag Football and Friends of Middlebury Football since 2014. She organizes the youth football season and continues volunteering because "it's fun to see the kids so excited each year and to watch them grow through the program." We're inspired by these stories and encourage everyone to find their own way to give back to the community. Together, we can make a difference!
