Avail DA Mainnet & the AVAIL token are now live! Today marks the launch of Avail DA, the first modular data availability layer using validity proofs + data availability sampling. Now, build blockchains that truly scale with demand. The AVAIL token powers the network—pay fees, stake to secure, and more. The Unification Layer for Web3 starts with Avail DA. Massive thanks to our community for helping us kickoff a unified web3 saga. 🌐 Blog → https://lnkd.in/gr9MYf-S

Blockchains are getting cheaper to use by the day, thanks to modularity and purpose built infrastructure. Today, small developer teams can easily build and deploy blockchain solutions using purpose-built components and existing networks. There's no need to set up or maintain a decentralized network—just pay a small transaction fee. This approach mirrors modern web2 development, freeing up time and resources to focus on the main use case. These efficiencies are being passed through to users in the form of lower transaction fees. The accompanying graph illustrates that the majority of Layer 2 users are now paying under 10 cents per transaction. Continuous development is driving these costs down further. Validiums and Optimiums are two blockchain architectures that push transaction data to specialized data availability solutions, making blockchain transactions even cheaper. Additionally, some teams are testing sponsored gas fees, a model that covers transaction costs for users, making their entry process as affordable and seamless as possible. A quick primer on staking AVAIL 📝  Staking AVAIL is essential for the security and growth of Avail. By nominating validators, participants secure and contribute to the network. If you’re looking to stake, here’s how you can do it: 1. Visit http://staking.avail.tools to access the Avail Staking Dashboard. 2. Choose your staking method - this could be staking directly or joining a nomination pool 3. Connect your wallet that has AVAIL tokens. 4. Enter the staking amount considering factors like the amount you’ll need for transaction fees, AVAIL holdings, the lockup period, and your staking goals. 5. Decide how you want your staking rewards to be managed. This could be Allow Withdraw, Allow Compound, or Permissioned. 6. Review and confirm your selections. 7. Wait for the next era. Your stake will become active in the next 1 to 2 eras. 8. From here, you can monitor and manage your stake, claim rewards, and unbond your stake. Learn more about AVAIL staking and NPoS in our recent blog here - https://lnkd.in/gB2ppPye

We are partnering with Avail to help accelerate the path towards a unified Ethereum. Appchains designed by Layer Labs will utilize Avail’s Data availability layer, Nexus, and Fusion for more connected and highly scalable on-chain experiences. Today’s cross-ecosystem transactions are more cumbersome than they should be, driving needless fragmentation and friction. Our collective user adoption efforts should be directed towards onboarding net-new users, instead of pulling them between existing web3 communities. With Avail DA, Nexus, and Fusion, Avail aims to unify today’s fragmented Rollup experience by building the Unification Layer. Together, Avail and Layer Labs break down the current barriers by unifying Web3 via plugging in more Appchains and Rollups into the Unification Layer. Start building your Appchain today with Layer Labs by filling out the form! https://lnkd.in/gcjbakQW
