Tokyo, you have been good to us. On to Hakone, Japan!

This time last year, over 6 weeks, I travelled through the US, joining Avanti Destinations for their roadshow to launch their South Pacific - Australia program. The roadshow across Seattle, LA, SF, Houston, Dallas and Chicago, as well as a week in their Portland office allowed me to share some of my arts practice and the message that across the itineraries offered, there were multiple opportunities to experience First Nations cultures with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tourism businesses, in art centres and with artists. Along with the roadshow, I had some time with family in Connecticut, a workshop in the New York Australian Consulate + visiting a 150+ year old dilly bag in Washington and joining my family back in New York. Loved the crossing paths with mob from back home in New York and LA. Together with Avanti, we’re preparing for their 2024 US roadshow. This next 6 weeks journey, starting in 2 weeks, also includes meetings and events in New York with Trade and Investment Queensland + visiting family and highlighting a lovely addition to the collaboration journey with ‘Dogstar Clothing’
