Last week Steve Forrer was honored to participate on behalf of AFCO in the CLEAR VIEW conference in Mexico, organized and sponsored by Kale Info Solutions--a global leader in trade-focused technology that increases productivity and environmental sustainability.   This annual invitation-only event is held in different locations around the world and brings together distinguished leaders to engage in discussions resulting in actionable and impactful follow up by participants on critical issues facing global trade. This year’s participants included decision makers and influential professionals from public and private organizations. Great to be a part of this forward-thinking group!

The Board of Commissioners for the The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey has selected AFCO to develop airside property at New York Stewart International Airport (SWF). Following the release of an RFQ for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of general aviation facilities--to support the growing demand for private or corporate jet facilities in the Hudson Valley region--the commissioners voted to award AFCO one of two developments on the undeveloped parcel: AFCO has proposed the construction of a hangar facility to serve as a regional service base for an international jet charter/fractional operator.   We're proud to be playing a role in the economic development of the region--on a project that will create hundreds of construction and permanent private sector jobs, support the local business community, and help increase the region’s overall economic vitality. We were proud to participate in the 7th annual Dulles South Food Pantry charity golf tournament last week. The Dulles South Food Pantry is a community-driven nonprofit serving Dulles South residents and the surrounding area, providing nutritious food, personal supplies and life-changing social services. Great to be a part of this wonderful event and to support our neighbors in need. 💙
