About us
Avista Realtime Systems. LLC, was founded in 2007 with a main focus in automation and control systems. Our main headquarter is located in Columbia, MD, serving mainly clients in the United States. Our systems are designed to efficiently and accurately deliver realtime data acquisition and control solutions to our customers. Our knowledge and experience in custom software development, SCADA, RTU/PLC programming, data communication and network security has given us a unique opportunity to help our clients. We always welcome the challenge of pushing the envelope and design and deliver custom software and hardware control systems that suit our clients’ situation the best. Avista has implemented many solutions in the past using GE, Allen Bradley, SEL, Wonderware and many other industry leaders’ software and equipment. Avista is proud to help major clients in the US with advanced engineered solutions. Some of these prominent clients are: - Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority - Cornell University - US Coast Guard In addition to traditional SCADA and control applications, Avista has implemented non-traditional/IIoT control and monitoring applications using edge and software platforms developed in house. These solutions are already field proven and installed in municipal electric and water unitalities. Unlike back room traditional applications, users can view the system data securely anywhere. The data can be pushed down to Excel, SQL Server or other desktop applications via secure API’s for further analysis or sent to AI platforms such as Azure ML to be used for predictive maintenance or anomaly detection. The other area of our work is to play the role of IIoT System Integrator for our clients. We understand not all the requirement can be addressed with prefabricated solutions. This means we still need to provide a good amount of development or customization so that the clients can fully take advantage of the available tools and platforms in the industry.

Electric Utility Detects and Records System Disturbances Using our rIoT Technology. Applications: Fire Alarm Systems, IT and Networks, Server Farms, AC/DC Switchgears, Generators, UPS and Battery Systems. Electric utility detects voltage sags using our rIoT Technology. The rIoT Engine communicates to the substation relays and reclosers via DNP3.0. rIoT Engine has smart strategies to report to the central via a wireless link. The update rate accelerates when a disturbance is detected. This allows the utility to have higher resolution around the fault while maintaining lower rates in normal situations The second image offers a zoomed-in perspective, illustrating the accelerated rate around the disturbance. Are you looking for similar applications? Feel free to explore our website at www.avistarts.com. #recloser #scada #dnp3 #disturbance #
