We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully secured $323 million in financing for our Kuna project, a 150 MW / 600 MWh battery energy storage facility located in the City of Kuna, just outside of Boise! This facility will be the largest battery energy storage project in Idaho when it comes online in mid-2025. Our partnership with Idaho Power on this project will greatly enhance grid reliability and meet the increasing clean energy needs of Idaho. The Kuna project is expected to create over 150 prevailing wage jobs during peak construction and generate around $30 million in local economic development over its operational life. We’re excited to announce our partnership with Salt River Project (SRP) on the 250 MW / 1 GWh Signal Butte energy storage project! Originally developed by Eolian, the project will be operational by 2026 and will power over 50,000 homes and support local data centers in Mesa, AZ.
