I learned this week that the #Emmys have a category for VR and other new storytelling media. Super cool! Digital LA reached out about a panel with some of this year's nominees and we had to say yes. So, if you're around LA, come check it out this Thursday! About this event Meet VR Emmy nominees who will describe how they concepted, created and executed their nominated VR projects. Experts will describe how they developed their VR projects, technical aspects, filming, user experienc, partner relationship, distribution and marketing. Can you spot the differences? Believe it or not this isn’t passthrough! Were building a multiplayer location based VR experience with the team at Back To Space that maps a VR experience over a real world location. This hyper realistic mapping is built in Unreal Engine and allows you to physically touch what you see in VR and manipulate the world in ways that would be impossible for a fully physical build.
