Last week, our Operations team participated in a two-day Carpet Cleaning training through IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification). Upon passing the Carpet Cleaning Technician Exam, team members received professional CCT Certifications. 14 of our team members took part in this valuable training. 7 of our Ops team members also participated in another three-day training: CMI Basics. Hosted by GBAC (Global Biorisk Advisory Council), CMI known as the Cleaning Management Institute, provides participants with a Certified Custodial Technician certification. Turning surplus into opportunity and action! The Baltimore Convention Center’s Donation by Diversion program, in collaboration with Derrick McPhearson and the Determined to Make a Change (DMAC) program, recently transformed leftover @Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) event items into valuable resources for Baltimore City Schools. By donating a basketball hoop, a ball cart, bags, and lanyards, we’re not just clearing out excess; we’re investing in the future of students, enriching their educational experience, and empowering them to reach new heights.
