This week, we want to recognize another one of our amazing renegades. Meet Berkeley. Berkeley has been with us for the last 2.5 years. She started with us as a bartender. Since then, Berkeley has become an incredible leader for us and supports not just one of our Banditos locations but also offers leadership support across the street at our other concept, Wayward Bar & Kitchen in Federal Hill. Berkeley comes from the small town of Berlin, MD, and has spent time working in Ocean City, MD. Her hospitality is second to none. Every guest Berkeley interacts with is made to feel like they are the only one in the room. We are so lucky to have her as a leader and role model. Thank you, Berkeley, for everything you have done and continue to do to create raving fans every day.

This week, we would like to recognize Ri Lear from our Maple Lawn, MD location. Ri has been with Banditos Tacos & Tequila for just over three months. Ri exemplifies exactly what hospitality means to us. She goes above and beyond for her guests and fellow team members. Ri's incredible attitude is so contagious that it infects everyone around her. Her customer reviews are excellent, and she lives and breathes our Brand Pillars, Cultural Values, and Team Member Agreements daily. We are so lucky to have Ri on our team.

Thank you to all of the Bandidtos Operating Partners for sharing their 2024 strategy for their specific restaurants. Our 2024 Strategy is "Getting Brilliant at the Basics." Less is more in 24, so we thrive in 25. Our team took that strategy and action plan and created a plan for their village. Presenting in front of a group takes work, confidence, and courage, especially when it is a group of your peers. This team knocked it out of the park. They were allowed to create their own presentation and how they wanted to present it. They could use PowerPoint, handouts, or any other method they felt comfortable with. To say I was impressed with their delivery would be an understatement. They presented plans that were on brand, strategic, and, of course, measurable. This is only the beginning of this great group of leaders. They all have a Shoshin mindset and are ready to learn from all the best practices shared and the ones that are being implemented this year. Thank you to Truvelop and Lisa First-Willis for supporting a big portion of leadership development for 2024. We are far from where we want to be, but this group of renegades is ready to do whatever it takes to win. We had our first Service Manager meeting this week with the Banditos Service Managers. It was great to bring these new managers together for the first time to share best practices, discuss the 2024 strategy, and get to know each other. We had a great time, starting with icebreakers and the Marshmallow Tower Challenge. I love seeing leaders who have not worked together before and sometimes never met come together and work as a team for a common goal. These renegades will be taking Banditos to new heights and, at the same time, taking an active role in the villages we call home. I would also like to send a shout-out to Lisa First-Willis with Truvelop. Lisa came to our meeting and shared with the group how we will use Truvelop as the foundation of our leadership development and team member recognition program. So proud to partner with Truvelop.
