On this day, we honor the historic moment in 1865 when the news of freedom finally reached enslaved Black Americans in Texas, almost two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Recognized as a federal holiday since 2021, Juneteenth is a time to unite and celebrate African American culture and art. Join us today in reflecting on our shared history and embracing the beauty of diversity. #Juneteenth #BelongatBaptistHealth
