Join us in celebrating Ryan, AGM at bartaco KOP, on his 3 year anniversary! Congratulations, Ryan! "Ryan joined the KOP team in october of ‘21. He moved to the Philadelphia area from Massachusetts to grow his life and experience a new city. Prior to bartaco, Ryan had no experience managing a bar or restaurant our size (could have fooled me!). He dove head-first into our beverage program where he shined. After successfully tackling the largest AOR in bartaco, he was promoted to AGM in July of ‘23. During his time in this role, he has successfully trained other managers to take over beverage inventory, improved our beer/whisky selection, become involved in several local charities, and created a swarm of loyal regulars. Ryan has worked in several of our DC locations to support and will be part of the opening team for Hingham. Ryan is a huge sports fan and loves going to concerts. He travels to New York at least once a week during the summer to attend as many Yankee’s games as he can. The team at KOP is so happy and proud to have Ryan as such a key member of our continued growth and success. Congrats on being with us for 3 years! Shout out to our Birkdale Village team for spending their day off packing hurricane relief boxes at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Our team packed over a thousand boxes to help feed neighbors in need. Amazing job, team!

Building a great culture not only takes great employees but great partners as well. Surrounding ourselves with some of the best vendors in the industry has allowed us to continue to build memories and stories while being inspired to continue to evolve our brand. I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Saumur, France with Curt Goldman to tour Distillerie Combier along with an incredible crew, and as part of our trip Levi Martin and I felt it was appropriate to give our first set of “wings” to a vendor and provide Curt with a dragonfly pin on this trip (bartacos highest honor). Curt has not only been a crucial part of our success, and an amazing partner to bartaco but he supports and believes in our culture and is a true brand ambassador. Our entire team is thankful for Curt and his team for his ongoing support and contribution to our culture.
