We're pleased to share that Caroline Westbrook, FNP, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine at Bassett Health Center Norwich. Caroline earned her master's degree in Family Practice Nursing from The Decker School of Nursing at SUNY Binghamton. She is also a recent graduate of the Bassett Post-Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. Caroline provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, including physical exams, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, prescriptions, specialty referrals, and more. The Friends of Bassett Healthcare Network recently hosted their Friends for Life breakfast, raising important funds for the Bassett Cancer Institute Initiative. This initiative seeks to improve Bassett’s cancer services by expanding the Medical Oncology Unit at FoxCare Center in Oneonta and getting the Mobile Cancer Coach back on the road. The numbers of patients seeking cancer care at Bassett facilities continues to climb, making this philanthropic initiative to improve our facilities and expanding our services all the more vital.
