We congratulate Dhananjai Menzies, MD, FACC, FSCAI, Director of Bassett Healthcare Network’s Interventional Cardiology and Catheterization Laboratories, for his recent appointment to the New York State Cardiac Advisory Committee. This recognition comes on the heels of Bassett Medical Center’s recent recognition for excellence in interventional cardiology outcomes statewide. Our Physician Assistants are on the frontlines at our hospitals, clinics, and health centers and we thank them, not just during this #PAWeek, but all year long. Don’t be fooled by the name. Though the word “assistant” may be in the title, a physician assistant is qualified to treat patients in many of the same ways as a medical doctor. They are trusted care providers to so many of our patients.
