Data Movement is the key to today's advanced #intelligentcompute systems as the #AI, and in particular, #generativeAI systems are demand more. Handling different types of computation and resultant data movement on silicon die and across multiple #chiplets, efficiently separates products that deliver, from the ones that don't. Baya Systems CEO, Sailesh Kumar, articulates the challenges and the path forward.

New on the Blog: "The future of computing is bright, but it will require a shift in how we think about data movement. Baya Systems' vision aligns with the industry's needs, where success is measured not just by raw compute power but by the ability to scale and maintain seamless and efficient movement of data across every node in the system. Through collaboration, open standards, and innovative technologies, we can unlock new levels of performance and efficiency, driving the next wave of computing forward." - Sailesh Kumar Read the full article: https://bit.ly/3NeOdvM

My 4.5 years at Intel Corporation was one of the most productive, delivering many transformational tech and working with truly talented people. However, I often felt lost in a sea of people, projects, and processes—held back and unable to reach my full potential. Whenever I took the initiative to build or fix something impactful, I was frequently questioned: Why was I doing this? Was it part of my role? Wasn’t someone else responsible? Why step on others' toes? While I used my Fellow status to push things through, I can see how stifling it could be for many talented and ambitious individuals. Many highly skilled people remain unseen, stuck, and held back in their current jobs and companies. This is my open invitation to those individuals: come talk to us at Baya Systems. Discover how you can truly spread your wings here—work on cutting-edge technology and influence the future of computing and semiconductors, free from the constraints of process, bureaucracy, or limitations, and be part of a near certain startup success story. At Baya Systems, there are no boundaries to what you can work on, the roles you can take, or how much you can grow. Every team member is as empowered as I am, with the opportunity to rise to the highest level. We embody a true meritocracy, driven by radical transparency and agility. It’s the perfect environment for those who like to win, make an impact and unleash their limitless potential. And we strive to do it all with humility and empathy. Defining The Chiplet Socket: https://lnkd.in/e9ZbV2GY The industry may have started with the wrong approach for enabling a third-party chiplet ecosystem, but who will step in and fix it? By Brian Bailey. https://lnkd.in/e9ZbV2GY 5 Experts Panel: The semiconductor industry has been buzzing with the possibilities surrounding chiplets, but so far this packaging technology has been confined to large semiconductor companies that are vertically integrated. The industry has been attempting to open this up to a broader group of people. To work out what this means for chiplets, and what standardization will be required, Semiconductor Engineering sat down with Elad Alon, CEO Blue Cheetah Analog Design, Inc.; Mark Kuemerle, vice president of technology at Marvell Technology; Kevin Yee, senior director of IP and ecosystem marketing at Samsung Semiconductor; Sailesh Kumar, CEO of Baya Systems; and Tanuja Rao, executive director, business development at Synopsys Inc. Held at the Design Automation Conference. #chiplets #semiconductor #advancedpackaging #heterogeneousintegration #BOW #UCIe #PHY
