What if your underwater robot could make decisions on its own? 🤖 The IQNS system, powered by NVIDIA Orin NX processors, brings advanced edge processing to the table, enabling real-time decision-making directly on the vehicle. This means reduced reliance on surface communication, faster responses, and greater autonomy—key factors in mission-critical operations. Discover how edge processing is changing the game for subsea missions. https://hubs.li/Q02N0hK_0 #EdgeProcessing #AutonomousSystems #UnderwaterTech

Is anything nicer than taking your Bayonet 250 out for a crawl on a sunny day in Newport, RI? Built for the harshest near shore conditions...but still sort of cute.

The Bayonet line of autonomous underwater ground vehicles (AUGVs) feature Greensea IQ's newest product, #IQNS. This provides Bayonet vehicles with superior GNCC (Guidance, Navigation, Command, and Control), sonar and camera integration, and onboard AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) processing. IQNS is a compact sensor and processing solution for Greensea’s EOD Edge software package, used worldwide by multiple defense organizations for automating the search, detection, and neutralization of subsea threats. Edge processing allows vehicles to use different communication schemes with the operator (lossy tethers, lower bandwidth comms, ACOMMS, etc.) while providing stable operation and allows the implementation of contingency behaviors and safety features on the robot. Bayonet Autonomous Underwater Ground Vehicles (AUGVs) provide a stable and robust platform to be used within the near shore environment, including the hazardous surf zone. The Bayonet 250 is outfitted with camera, forward looking sonar, GPS, and IP Radio as standard (additional application specific sensors can be added). Bayonet AUGVs use Greensea IQ's advanced inertial navigation solution for high accuracy positioning subsea. We'll be demoing the Bayonet AUGV at #BlueTIDE 2024 put on by 401 Tech Bridge on August 29th. Greensea IQ had the opportunity to answer questions about the Bayonet 250 as part of the A2RV project last week when DIU hosted General Smith. A2RV will provide USMC Commanders with various unmanned capabilities to include clearance of explosive hazards from ship-to-shore, shore-to-ship, ship-to-ship, and shore-to-shore employment conditions and will complement other capabilities, interoperating with unmanned underwater vehicles, remote operated vehicles, unmanned surface vehicles, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians as part of the Littoral Explosive Ordnance Neutralization (LEON) Program of Record. More info about Bayonet surf zone crawlers can be found at: https://lnkd.in/eq5SJ7RS
It was an honor to host General Eric M. Smith, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, at our Mountain View office last Thursday. The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) Unit team was proud to update General Smith on how we are addressing critical operational capability gaps for the USMC through commercial technology demonstrations. These demonstrations highlighted several key projects, including the Autonomous Amphibious Response Vehicle (A2RV), Analysis, Research, Collection, Heuristics, & Engagement Resource (ARCHER), Blue UAS, Integrated Communications, and Hybrid Space Architecture. Thank you, General Smith, for visiting us in Silicon Valley! Ooh-rah! #innovation #commercial #technology #nationaldefense
