Lou Kassa, Chief Executive Officer of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC), Baruch S. Blumberg Institute and Hepatitis B Foundation, was the keynote speaker for the fall breakfast meeting of Beacon, the networking organization. Kassa oversees the daily operations, finance, business development and compliance at the PABC, located in Doylestown, PA. Lou is on the Philadelphia Business Journal's 2024 "Power 100" list of the region's most influencial business leaders. During his hour long talk, Kassa shared how the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center contributed over $7.3 billion to the Pennsylvania economy over the last five years, and further added over 500 jobs through the center. There are over 100 member companies at the PABC. Beacon is a community of Business Leaders committed to Sharing, Helping and Learning.
