This image brought Cole Derochie from 600 to 7.6k Twitter followers and 0 to 5.4k newsletter subscribers in just 1 year. Cole started his weekdaily design newsletter, aptly titled Today in Design, one year ago last week. It was a way to put a point on his internet usage, build his own profile online, and create, for the design community, a trustworthy and centralized daily news source. It's still just a hobby, but he's managed to generate over $7k in revenue since starting, mostly after launching sponsorships back in February.
