i'm building my local newsletter in public and just launched Facebook ads yesterday. even with zero experience, my cost per lead on the main ad is holding steady around $0.70–$0.75. the result? my newsletter is growing faster than ever, and I’m close to hitting 500 subscribers. lesson learned: sometimes, you just have to take action—even when you’re still figuring things out. oh, and now I know exactly how our users beehiiv sync their FB pixels with our site. shoutout Steven V. for the explainer vid. time to lock in and scale 🚀
