Spooky Salmon Sashimi 👻🍣 (plant-based) 🍃💚 If you are looking for some fun halloween appetizer ideas that aren't sweets, we got you covered 😋⬇️ Ingredients: For the Sushi Rice: • 1 cup sushi rice • 1 1/4 cups water • 2 tbsp rice vinegar • 1 tbsp sugar • 1/2 tsp salt For the Sashimi: • Beleaf Plant-Based Salmon Sashimi • Halloween-themed cookie cutters (pumpkins, ghosts, etc.) Dipping Sauce: • 3 tbsp Japanese BBQ sauce • 1 tbsp sriracha (or to taste) • 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped Instructions: Sushi Rice: 1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain. 2. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes, still covered. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. 4. Gently fold the vinegar mixture into the cooked rice. Set the rice aside to cool to room temperature. Sashimi: 1. Lay out the Beleaf plant-based salmon sashimi slices on a flat surface. 2. Using Halloween-themed cookie cutters, carefully cut the salmon into spooky shapes like pumpkins, ghosts, or bats. 3. Arrange the spooky sashimi on a plate with the prepared sushi rice. Dipping Sauce: 1. In a small bowl, mix together the Japanese BBQ sauce, sriracha, and green onions. 2.
