I was honored to be invited to speak on a panel for the Bellevue Chamber’s New Executive Class! It was a fantastic opportunity to share insights not only from my role as an executive but also as a board member. Being on the panel with such accomplished leaders was truly inspiring. It was an honor to discuss Amazon’s Project Kuiper with Michael Fong, Kelly Maloney, and Rep. Adam Smith last week at a lunch sponsored by the Bellevue Chamber. Kuiper will provide high-speed, high-quality broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. I spoke about how that important work starts in Amazon’s hometown in the Puget Sound, including our Redmond headquarters for Kuiper, our Kirkland satellite manufacturing facility (it will be able to make up to five satellites a day!), and our partnership with the Lake Washington Institute of Technology on a manufacturing certificate program to create a new talent pipeline. Thanks to the Bellevue Chamber for their important work and to all policymakers in the Puget Sound who support our effort to fix the digital divide with Kuiper!
