Four Bennett NASA LASSO II employees— Dr. Joel Olson, Angie Diaz, Phil Wood, and Dr. Daniella Saetta—attended the 53rd International Conference on Environmental Systems (ICES) in Louisville, KY, from July 21st to 25th, 2024. The ICES, which began in 1971, focuses on sharing technical and scientific information related to humans living in space and working in extreme environments. Participants from academic, government, and space industry organizations worldwide gather to exchange valuable research and develop new technologies in the field of Environmental Systems. This year’s conference included over 300 technical papers/presentations, technical discussions, panel discussions, student poster competition, and published proceedings, as well as networking and social events. During the conference, Bennett employee Dr. Joel Olson presented on "Plasma Abatement of Volatile Organic Compounds in Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide Background Gases" and "Carbothermal Reduction Demonstration (CaRD) Gas Analysis Subsystem Development," while Philip Wood presented on "TOC Calibration Method for Exploration Application." Bennett is proud to acknowledge the active participation of these employees in the ICES conference. Their contributions have deepened their technical expertise and enriched our collective intelligence. We value their commitment to knowledge sharing and engagement, which is integral to our company’s success. . . . #bennett #bennettaerospace #threesaintsbay #employeeappreciation #teamwork
