Please get a Full Body Scan (with contrast.) That simple!
Over ten years ago, I got a full body scan because I heard you didn’t need a script from a doctor. “I was curious what it would tell me about my health.” At that time, I was perfectly fine. In 2018, I had another scan (Drs. orders) done because I was having abdominal issues. That finding was an ulcer and a hernia. “No big deal – I will take Pecid forever.” However, the other issue was a nodule on my lung. I had to get a scan every year since to watch for changes. I skipped the 2023 scan because I was “TOO BUSY at Work.” I constantly had a nagging to get another full body scan in 2024, in which I did, and that is why I am writing today. My nodule on my lung turned into Stage 1 Lung cancer. (Mind you I am Not a Smoker.) To be very blunt, I had part of my right lung removed last week.
So, PLEASE, give yourself a day of rest and get a Full Body Scan. Your Family will LOVE you for doing so! I will be at my office desk next week. I am feeling better and stronger everyday!
