The City of Raton has been awarded a $500,000 grant through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Brownfields Grant Program! Funding from this grant will enable the City begin the processes to redevelop brownfield sites within the Raton City Limits Target Area, propelling them into an economic transition towards new industries. Raton is making huge strides towards revitalization and this effort towards repurposing underutilized sites will benefit the community environmentally and economically.   Congratulations to City Manager Richard Mestas, DPA, City Engineer Jaden Welch and Ann Theis on the continued excellent execution of Raton's strategic vision.

We are excited to announce that two of our client communities in the Intermountain West were selected to participate in the U.S. Department of Transportation's Thriving Communities Program!    The program will provide technical assistance, planning, and capacity building support for transportation and community revitalization efforts that expand jobs and build local capacity to accelerate projects and access and manage federal funding. Over a three-year period, the program will provide targeted, deep-dive technical assistance, including with grant applications, project scoping, and pre-engineering studies.    This program will help these communities grow, and gain the necessary infrastructure and resources to progress towards becoming thriving and vibrant communities.

Congratulations to Marion County Oregon’s Economic Development Program for completing their Strategic Plan.
