Impactful research presented by our colleagues at Imperial College London and NHS about the learnings from deploying Eko AI in clinical care.
🚨 Breakthrough research from Imperial College London presented to the European Society of Cardiology highlights the transformative potential of Eko Health’s AI to identify patients at elevated risk for major cardiac events. In a pivotal study involving over 1,000 patients, Eko’s AI was shown to predict MACE—including heart attacks, heart failure, and hospitalization—as well as all-cause mortality. Patients flagged by the AI for low ejection fraction were twice as likely to experience MACE compared to those without a positive AI result. These patients also faced a 65% higher mortality rate, even after adjusting for traditional risk factors. 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/euc-ziFW #CardiacCare #AIHealthcare #HealthTech #Innovation #HeartHealth #EkoHealth

Thrilled to support Frate Returns as they announce their oversubscribed $3.6M CAD Seed round! 🎉 Frate is making returns smarter, faster, and greener. Their incredible growth—30x revenue increase, AI-driven innovations, and key partnerships—proves they’re transforming eCommerce returns. Proud to partner alongside Matchstick Ventures, 2048 Ventures, Whitecap Venture Partners, Closed Loop Partners and more. Exciting journey ahead! 🌍
It’s a big day for Frate Returns! We’re beyond excited to announce our oversubscribed $3.6M CAD Seed round, bringing our total funding to $5.7M! 🎉 We’re also delighted to share that Kostya Alexeev will be joining Frate as a Principal Engineer. Kostya was formerly a Staff Engineer on the Shopify Shipping team, and we couldn't be happier to be bringing him on board. This funding round was led by the incredible team at Matchstick Ventures, who’ve believed in us since investing in Frate in 2022. We’re also thrilled to welcome Whitecap Venture Partners, Better Ventures, Closed Loop Partners, and Ben Zises as new Frate investors, alongside continued support from 2048 Ventures. Since our last raise, Frate has grown by leaps and bounds—our revenue has surged 30x, we’ve launched cutting-edge AI-driven solutions, and integrated with key partners such as Happy Returns, a UPS Company, Two Boxes, EcoCart, and ShipInsure. But what we’re most proud of? 100% of the brands who’ve made the switch to Frate are still using our platform. Here are just a few highlights from brands that have made the switch and why they stay: - A Canadian accessory brand boosted exchanges over refunds by 45% - A US footwear brand cut fraudulent returns by 98% - A UK apparel brand reduced overall returns volume by over 30% At Frate, brands are leveraging our platform in different ways: all use us to automate returns and accelerate exchanges like never before, others rely on our AI-driven condition assessment to reduce returns fraud, and some are harnessing return resale to boost sales and build community. No matter the configuration, one thing remains certain—Frate consistently delivers value to customers, and we're here for the long haul. Simply put, returns are a pain—they’re inefficient, costly, and damaging to the planet. At Frate, we’re on a mission to fix that. Check out the video in the comments below to learn more about Frate and why we matter. #ecommerce #returns #logistics
