  • Today we’re celebrating 25 years of the Panda Cares Foundation alongside our friends at Panda Express! Since 2020, the foundation has been supporting Boys & Girls Clubs’ Academic Success programming. This funding is crucial for us to help pave the way for great futures! #I❤️🐼 for the impact that they make on the young people in our Clubs! Thanks to the generosity of Panda guests’ and associates’ donations, our Jack Minges Club opened a Panda Cares Center of Hope in 2022, which provides Club members a safe and empowering space to learn, grow, and thrive. #greatfutures #pandacares

  • 🎉 Congratulations to the Jack Minges Teen Center Keystone Club! 🎉 Turn your sound up for this one! Our JMTC Teen Titans are at the National Keystone Conference in Atlanta this week and yesterday their hard work was recognized when they won a national award for their community service project! Their winning project involved transforming a rarely-used storage closet into a full-service community closet within the Club, partnering with Old Navy to make it happen. This community closet continues to be an impactful resource for Club members and their families. We are so proud of our Keystone teens and leaders for their hard work, dedication and commitment to making a difference. 👏👏 #GetLoudKeystone24 #GreatFuturesStartHere #FutureLeaders

  • Our members had an amazing time at the Summit for America’s Youth, where they joined other young leaders from across the country to tackle important issues and brainstorm innovative solutions. These young people did an exemplary job representing not only our organization, but the entire state, as they were the only members from North Carolina at the summit this year! This fantastic opportunity was made possible thanks to the generous support from the Family Dollar Think Learn Create (TLC) grant. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Daniel Simmons, Director of Government Relations, and the entire Government Relations team of Boys & Girls Clubs of America for their incredible support during our congressional visits. In addition to the summit, our kids had the unique chance to visit the offices of Senator Thom Tillis, Senator Ted Budd, and Representative Don Davis to raise awareness about community violence. They presented their incredible podcast project, which dives deep into local issues and explores creative solutions. This project is a testament to their hard work and dedication to making a positive impact in our community. We are thrilled to announce that this podcast will officially launch this fall, providing a powerful platform for our youth to share their perspectives and drive change. Stay tuned for more updates and join us in supporting our future leaders!
