In September, Cboe BIDS Canada set records for total shares traded (73,520,500) and ADV (3,676,025), which represents a 91% increase in volume year-over-year. Last month Cboe BIDS Canada also introduced the “Overtime” feature, an optional functionality allowing buy-side firms to capture more residual liquidity around a block print by converting the residual of any firmed-up conditional to a “firm” passive order that can match with contra-side firm orders (both passive and active) on MATCHNow.
